Bed Bugs are on the rise across the U.S. and the University of Colorado at Boulder is faced with the same problem. C.U.’s had over 30 infestations in the past year, off campus students are seeing a rise in the number as well. Bed bug are very hard to treat for but Etymologist Virginia Scott says heat is the best treatment. Cooking them to 120 degrees kills bed bugs in all forms. She also says the problem is only going to get worse before it gets better. For many across the U.S. and at C.U. prevention is key.
